I say yes to this post....
Commish....we keep Scott $ at 6.5 and O's give me 3.25M in Cash $ correct..? just let me know of how I denote it on my page.... 203.25M cap or keep it at 200M and denote the -3.25 next to scotts contract.....
ex 12: 6.5M - 3.25M from O's) = 3.25M and it stays at 200M.....
or 12:6.5M.... and cap is 203.25M....

I thought all trades would go through after 48 hours unless there were complaints requiring the commishes to be involved. If so, why are the commishes approving and vetoing this trade? Just trying to understand.

I'm gonna stay calm here , and wait to see what happens in the end , but if being a co-commissioner means they single handedly can stop a team from improving themselves just because they happen to be in the same division , then that is just un cool , I completely understand if it's just a statement that he doesn't want any team in he's division to improve , I get that , but if it gives the power to single handedly stop a trade ,then that just ain't right , and to legetimatly say the move's I made yesterday was in any way wrong , bad , unfair , or not improving my team , is just plan being blind , I made 2 moves that completely improve my team , so I sure the heck would like a factual neutral reason of this veto , if it pleases the league , if in fact it does mean his veto can single handedly stop this trade. I hope it isn't the case where one GM can stop a trade, I'm all for voicing opinions , and I truly do get it , I even respect it , it's competition ,but so long as it's just a voice and not the total power to stop a trade. Thanks , I got my opinion off my chest , well see what happens from hear I guess

read rules... not sure how this works now..... do we all vote on it? just the 3 commish vote? is 1 veto a no trade ,2? anyway...... I needed a CF bad ,had pitching, and needed cap room for FA bad ,got (40mil) in the deal..... can go into it more if I need to plead my case in anyway...lol (I know what I am doing)
in my mind a veto should be used if someone thinks people are cheating.... ex. O's and I are the same person or friends... we trade all good players to 1 team to form a super team... that is cheating to me and should be vetoed and people kicked out... but that is not the case here , I do understand that some people view the veto different than I
each team has different needs and with $ and years etc, tied to these players the worth of the players change a lot too from a reg. ranking... anyway my 2 cents on this.....

I'm sure this is a misunderstanding so let's wait and see.
The rules state that there needs to be objections before it goes to vote. So I'm not sure why someone vetoed the trade. Maybe they just wanted to voice an objection...
The rules don't limit objections to collusion so it's possible.

Not that I feel I need to in any way justify this trade at all : I am going to give my baseball reasoning behind this if for nothing else but so that it is on the record : my team is one of the worst in baseball , I have basically no pitching , and a few good hitters , and a farm system that is well let's just put it this way not great : I do have a ton of money , and what prospects I do have that are worth anything at all are all of the same position for the most part , if you look at the deal along with my other deal one can clearly see I yes down graded CF slightly , but I completely upgraded my pitching , and what did I really loose , i lost a couple very good SS-prospects and a very good pitching prospect, but now let's think for a moment about those 2 SS prospects , are they ever gonna do me any good when I still have a stud ( the # 1 overall SS prospect in MLB (Manny Manchado) plus J.J. Hardy signed for 3 more seasons , I think not , now $ , I had 92M available , I still have 70M available , so how did I loose there , well that is all I have to say about it , just wanted to put it on record for all to see why I did what I was doing , not that anyone should have to know why and I likewise should not have to know why someone else does what they do , we should all just respect one another enough to unless it looks or smells like cheating , respect each other so we all can improve our teams, and have fun, lol to all,

ppl can approve or veto a trade for up to 48 hours, if at the end of 48 hours, it is a tied decision then it will be up to the commissioners to make the final call, 6 approvals or vetoes will also make the trade official
