ok so we need to post the AAA and AA teams for each MLB Team.. I see other teams have done that.. But in reading the rules is it a 100 max from any A,AA,AAA level? is there a min. number ex. 50 ? the answer to this would void out some of my other questions... do we pay them 0.3 mil * 100 = (30 mil for Minors) of are 200 mil? or only pay them the 0.3 mil if they make the 40 man....?
I also get that we will draft the HS and College players every year 3-6 rounds what ever you decide.... and the international guys will go to FA bids each year....
1.But for this 1st year what happens to ALL Minor League A players on all teams is it a free for all to put them on are teams? or does each team have the rights to there own A players as they move up to AA and AAA as the 2012 season goes along.... in Past some of the best young players were in A+ or lower B Harper in the past etc etc this year G Brown for the Giants etc I am sure every team has a stud like this too, so not sure how these players that finished the 2011 season in A+ or lower are going to factor into all this....?
ADDED LATER... the more I read the rules.. it looks like we will be drafting the 2011 Draft players.. that were drafted in real life in June..... this would answer some of my questions I have here.... so we can keep any Minor guys that have contracts with are teams up to 100, that were not in the 2011 draft?
2.what happens with AA and AAA players that are traded in 2012 does org team (2011) hold rights to them or do you have to drop them. I would guess that the org team hold onto them....
I understand every Minor LG guy is paid $300,000 on a 1yr deal you can cut them with no cap hit......
3.Do all Minor lg guys (0.3mil ea) count against the 200 mil cap? or just the 15 on your 40 man roster or ALL on the AA and AAA rosters? if it is ALL then...
4.is there a max-min number for these Minor lg guys in AA AAA not on 40 man, or is it set number? like ex 50 players * 0.3 mil ea = minor lg budget .... or do we need wiggel cap room for ( I would guess the number in real life goes up and down with DL etc)
I understand the 25 man roster and the 40 man rosters.... and contract stuff I think... lol
5. So you can't have, when season starts, after Auction drafts etc, lets say (opening day) more than and at no time can you go over or under these numbers.... ( and would need to add or cut players to get to these magic numbers without going over the 200 mil number)
25 MLB contracts ( you cant put a MLB contract off the 25 man and onto the 40 and use it like a bench....)
15 Minor lg contracts (on 40 man) ( do these have to be on a official 40 man roster or can they be any Minor leaguer trying to think of this how it will look like in 2 or 3 years when the teams start to not look like the real thing)
and the Minor Lg guys list... (AA and AAA) again I asked this.. is it just the 2011 AA and AAA rosters or a total of any from all the teams Minors ex.top 100 giants propects or top 75 giants 50 etc...
6.Can players that get called up to the 40 man or to the majors etc, stay on this minor lg list in season or are we forced to move them up and drop people etc to make room for them (or cut them) or can wee just move them up when we want to, not when we have to because of what the real MLB does with them...... (ex. 5 minor lg guys get called up to MLB, all of them will be bench players now and not play much in MLB.. but you want to keep them because they will play down the road...) do you have to drop Bench MLB players that are starting everyday to make room for them on your 25 man roster or can you move them up to your 25 man when you want to?..... not when real MLB has called them up or has put them on the 40 man etc.....
