Hey guys. Glad to be a part of the league. I like the setup and am looking forward to getting started but I got a couple questions.
First, why are we opening trading and considering opening FA when the league isn't established. White Sox, Yankees, Cardinals, and Cubs are all missing in action. The Angels last login was the 13th, A's the 5th, Brewers the 12th, Dodgers the 11th, Mets the 8th, Rangers the 11th, and the Red Sox the 12th of October. I'd expect an active owner to visit the board at least every few days during inception, No?
Second, will a league spreadsheet be kept and maintained or will everything be kept here on the board?

Starting a new league is not easy, we will undoubtedly go through some growing pains, we have to just stick together , as time goes by we will get to know who the active and devoted GM's are, the others will fall by the waste side and if a vote would be to replace them , then my vote is yes, it was my understanding we did have a full league until today where the cubs opened up, I think this is where all of us active GM's can help the league commish & and ourselves by keep everyone informed as to who is not active , that way we can either resolve it , or weed them out, we cant hold up a league just because of a couple dead apples, matter a fact the yankees GM i belive just said a week ago about he wanted to starting trading then because he is far over the cap and needs to get down, everyone has a lot they need to do regarding rosters, in my humble opinion if we were to wait until we had 30 totally active GM's , it will be the all-star game next season, with maybe only 6 non actives right now for it being a new league , we are doing really good. we only started trades yesterday and FA doesn't start for another 10 days or so per rules .

we may have to delay FA until i can at least get those teams going, I am in the process of emailing all inactive ppl, shame one is a co-commish, he seemed to really know his stuff but I will be forced to replace him if he doesn't log on soon, same goes for all of the GMs who haven't logged in

Nobody said anything about all owners being active, but a roster would be nice..Don't take something someone said and twist it around.. I will not make trades until I know what I can get on the open market..no open market if all the rosters aren't done..
Simple as that..

I'm in the process of making it, should be up by tomorrow at the latest, still seeing if I can contact our non-registered teams as well, league wide email is no good for guys who haven't registered

Reds GM just hit it on the nose, wish I would have worded it that way, it's the rosters of some of these teams not being done , completed or in most cases just half way done. re: $ , info , positions , etc. , with out that being done and completed by the GM's it then makes FA much more harder for all of us because of the uncertainty of where there value is and what not , trades I still think should be ok between any two who wish to trade because that really doesn't effect FA or anyone elses rosters but the two who are trading .
