Agree that the 2011 draft is history and that we should make a plan for the 2012 draft. My decision to select the D-Backs was based on the prospects that accompany the team. I like the idea of it being near to the real MLB draft. How will international signees be handled? Go-DBacks!!!

I believe that the rules indicate international players will be handled as free agents.

So we are drafting the 2012 draft class...fine with me ! some time around the real draft date....we can draft anyone that is in that real draft... and if its a High school kid that decides not to sign with the mlb club and goes to school or to play football etc or hold out for more $ that year... as long as we keep them on are 100 man list and pay them... we get to hold onto them as long as we want.....
the international players that will be Free agents and we bid on them..are we going to have rules on them... do they have to be signed by a mlb team or filed for real FA.. or can we bid on any player with the hopes that they will play someday in mlb..... I dont care what we do.. just want to all be on the same page.....

we will draft the 2012 draft class whenever the MLB does their draft, the international players rules are the same as for FA, in order to sign them they have to be in baseball at the professional level somewhere, thanks for the questions
